Archna Malhotra Becker is the visionary behind Bhojanic, one of Atlanta’s most celebrated Indian restaurants. With over 25 years of experience, she has redefined the Indian dining scene, earning numerous accolades, including multiple “Best Indian Restaurant” awards from Creative Loafing, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Atlanta Magazine. In 2011, Atlanta Magazine recognized Bhojanic as one of the city’s 50 Best Restaurants.Archna’s passion for food began in India, where she learned traditional home-style cooking from her grandmother. After moving to the U.S. at age 11, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to convince her parents to help launch Atlanta North Indian Cuisine (ANIC), a catering business that gained a stellar reputation, catering high-profile events and securing contracts with Grammy-winning artists.
Building on that success, Archna opened Bhojanic, known for its authentic, home-style Indian cuisine served as full meals and tapas-style small plates. The brand expanded to multiple locations, including Bhojanic Buckhead in 2013, Georgia Tech and Emory in 2016, and the launch of the Bhojanic Food Truck in 2015. In 2020, she introduced Tandoori Pizza & Wing Co., a modern twist on Indian flavors that has since grown into multiple locations.
In 2025, Archna is expanding to Evergreen, Colorado, with The Yellow House 1924, an experiential event space dedicated to supper clubs, pop-ups, and immersive cooking classes. A recognized leader in the restaurant industry, she has served on the board of the Georgia Restaurant Association and has been a board member of the National Restaurant Association since 2020. She was also nominated for Restaurateur of the Year in 2013.
Beyond her restaurants, Archna has made national television appearances, been a featured guest chef on cruises and destination weddings, and continues to push the boundaries of Indian cuisine in innovative and unexpected ways.
